Germiled remains open for business, following Covid secure policies already in place.
Safeguarding your health and the health of others is extremely important and even more so in today’s world. All businesses must maintain a high level of cleanliness to protect those most vulnerable. The GERMILED Lamp uses UVC light to assist in sterilisation of your facility and will become an essential tool in your cleaning process.
It is impossible and time-consuming to clean all surfaces with disinfectant, but with the GERMILED lamp the ultraviolet light technology is able to kill bacteria, viruses and fungal spores in the air at the click of a button. The addition of the Germiled sterilisation process installs confidence not only for your staff but for all who visit or reside.
UV-C lamps have been used for almost a century for the sterilisation of medical equipment, hospitals and even in water treatment plants. Germiled harnesses the power of UV-C technology using its quartz UV-C bulb . The powerful, deep cleansing technology can omit UV-C light at 360 degrees disinfecting a room and eliminating 99.9%* of germs in the process.
UV sterilising light has been scientifically proven to effectively kill even the most resistant Viruses, Bacteria, Germs, Moulds, Bed Bugs, Salmonella, E. coli, etc. It can even remove bad odours and sanitise germs that hide in crevices where even cleaning wipes cannot reach.
Firstly, in order to guarantee maximum disinfection, ensure that the germicidal lamp is placed in a central location in the room on a stable surface. The UVC lamp will sterilise the climate of the room. Any surface staying out of the UV-C light will not be sterilised properly. Position the GERMILED lamp in a room, turn the lamp on via the switch located on the flex, then set the timing option required on the handheld remote control and leave the room. Finally, once the disinfection work is completed, the germicidal lamp will turn off by itself and you will be able to enter the room.
UVC light is harmful to the eyes and skin so make sure there is no person, pet or plant in the room that is being sterilised.
The lamp has a built-in delay function to allow the user to safely leave the room when the timer is set.The warning door hangers are then placed on the door to warn others that the room is being sterilised. If someone does enter the room, the motion sensor positioned on the base of the lamp will function and turn off the lamp. It will then automatically turn the lamp back on when no motion has been detected.
Always position the sensor towards the door. .
